Argentine Tango with Us!

Bailonga is a friendly, casual, fun group of Argentine tango dancers who love to learn, experiment and dance to good music. You’ll dance to a mixture of alternative tango, nuevo tango, and golden age traditional tango music and make sure to make it to our live music events hosted multiple times a year. We would love to introduce you to Argentine Tango in Eugene, Oregon!

Beginners can get their start taking tango lessons at our drop-in Beginner Series Class and experienced dancers can learn something new at our intermediate classes. No partner necessary! Hosted in the beautiful Veteran’s Memorial Building Ballroom, in South Eugene, Oregon our large dance floor and unique setup allows for dancing in the center of the room and practicing and experimenting on the outside ring.

At Bailonga, we have three main priorities:

	Inclusivity Bailonga’s community includes a wide range of skill levels, ages, genders, and backgrounds and dancers are encouraged to lead and follow interchangeably.
Experimentation Bailonga prioritizes the ability to play and enjoy yourself above all things. Experimenting, silliness and non-standard tango dancing are encouraged!
Musicality Bailonga values music that is high quality and always danceable and we are the most frequent host of live music among tango events in Eugene.

Volunteer: 30-minute desk shift gets you in free!

7-7:45PM: Two simultaneous 45-minute lessons

7:45-10PM: DJed Music and Social Dance

Parking: To the left of Vet’s club building or nearby street parking
Accessibility: The Vet’s club’s ramp is on the front-right corner of the building. There is an elevator directly to the right once inside the main entrance.
